2012 Goals

I guess I'm a little behind posting my goals for the New Year, but here they are anyhow:

Mommy Goals:
-  Take Little Man outside everyday.  Rain or shine, even if it's only for five minutes.  (side note:  We are usually pretty good about going outside everyday, but there are some days - you know the ones- when you're busy and never leave the house all day.)
-  Read to Little Man everyday (Again, this is something we usually do.  But I think it's worthy to have as a goal for this year, too)
-  More stimulating activities.
-  More crafts
-  Library twice a month

Wife Goals:
-  Be more appreciative to The Hubs
-  Plan quaility time to spend together
-  More hiking together

Homemaker Goals:
-  Organize the house
-  Stockpile a week's worth of freezer meals
-  Healthy menu planning
-  Be more dedicated to grocery and spending budgets.
-  Stick to cleaning schedule better
-  Learn to can (as in "canning") more food

Reading Goals:
-  The Duggar's Books
-  Potty Training Books
-  The Hunger Game series
-  The last Sookie Stackhouse Novel

Fitness Goals:
-  Run 10K in the Spring
-  Run Half Marathon in the Fall (gulp!!)
-  Weight train 3x a week

Me Goals:
-  Work on photography skills
-  Launch online esty store
-  Blogging
-  Dressing better
-  New ways to do hair/makeup
-  Goal setting
-  More craft projects: aim for one per month

I think this handy-dandy list will help me accomplish some of the goals I've set for myself.  I'll probably blog about each item as I do it.  I hope it helps inspire me to get things done, and others who may be interested in some of the same things!

  1. What kind of items are you thinking for your Etsy shop.. I had an Etsy shop and when the remainder of my items expired.. I've decided to rename it.. So just stock piling with more items.. Hope to launch soon too! Maybe when we both launch I could host a giveaway for us!! <3xojo

  2. I'm hoping to make some little shirts for babies/toddlers, and "teething guards" to put on their cribs so when they're tall enough to stand they don't chew on the wood or fall and hit their heads on it. I have a LOT of work to do. All these things are just little jots in my notebooks as of now. I can't wait to see your re-launch soon! By looking at your blog you seem to have real artistic talent!
