To the Zoo!

The Hubs and I took Little Man to the zoo.  We've taken him to the Wild Animal Park a couple of times, but he really had a blast at the Zoo.  Maybe it's because the animals were closer, or maybe it's because he's a little older, but he was much more engaged in the animals and  his surroundings. He was even waving to the Giraffes!  It was the sweetest thing ever.  I hope he didn't get his feelings hurt cuz they didn't wave back (sigh..the things I worry about...)  He has a book at home about zoo animals that he really loves and it made me wonder if he remembered some of the animals from the books he read.  Probably not.  But that's okay!

One of his favorite things to do at the Zoo:  Pick up leaves.

 One of Little Man's favorite thing to do at the Zoo is to pick up leaves.  I don't know what's up with this kid and leaves, but he loves them!  He had a blast picking all of them up and squishing them into one hand.  It was all fun and games until he tried to eat them and mommy had to take them away.  Bad mommy! 

His other favorite thing to do at the Zoo:  eat hamburgers and french fries. He highly recommends them.
